  It's a car thing, too.  Like when you see trucks with lift kits but they're riding on super-wide low profile tires.  It's like they have a shopping list of mods for the sole purpose of making their vehicle ride like crap.

  I got banned from bikexif because i questioned an adventure bike build which was unlikely to last a single ride

  I built a '49 Chopper in 1969. Terms like 14" Over, drag bars, hardtail, narrowed, spool hub, king & queen, sissybar, mousetrap, peanut tank, and dog bones, were terms I came to understand.

  I modify my foot placement for me. Comfort. And large tanks. Small look cool, but i have no urge to stop every hour

  Awesome take, bro. I paint cars and bikes and I always tell the customer it's up to their taste in what they want. I had one customer that had a Texas Chopper with a lot of rake in the front end. I just had to replace his brake lever on the handle bars and his foot brake pedal after he laid it over in his garage. When I was finished, I called him up and he told me to take it for a test ride. Cool...I've always liked how choppers looked so this would be my first time getting to ride one. Well...when I got back, I fell in love with my old 78 FLH all over again. I had to damn near come to a complete stop to make a left turn on that chopper. On my FLH with the stock rake and 16 inch front tire I never had that issue turning. Plus it's fun to scrape the floor boards sometimes in a turn.
