I feel like the descendants franchise was solely developed as an apology to China for being in this movie

I just think it’s funny this movie essentially predicted AI boyfriends and AI psychosis like 10 years ago.

3:16 ngl, as a kid, the ages of the actors don’t really matter. like having people a bit older play the “older kids” goes right over a kid’s head. As kids we don’t know the difference between 17 and 24😭

A young teenager creates an AI boyfriend she becomes so attached to that she falls in love with him and makes her become irrational and prefers to be with him than a real person? I don't know, seems pretty realistic to me

This was one of the certified “I’m too old for Disney Channel aren’t I?” Movies

Oh, this movie takes me back I was actually a background extra for this movie way back in the day China anne McClain was super nice to all the children who worked on this film. I got her autograph It’s still posted up on my refrigerator to this day.

Random fact: For whatever reason this is one of the only Disney Channel Original Movies to have a full music score release, it’s available on Kenneth Burgomaster’s Youtube channel alongside the score for Return to Halloweentown.

I can’t believe Disney knocked off weird science 29 years later 😔

"Worst" is a strong word, Disney Channel has made some BAD movies. Particularly the 90s and early 2000s.
