  All your video is very sensible and honest for newcomers to Vietnam. When my Vietnamese wife met me in 1998, I already was fluent in Vietnamese from being an army interpreter/translator. She invited me to take her dancing, and each following day invited me out, which was rather pleasant. I was not even looking for a girlfriend, let alone a wife, but I found I did enjoy her company. My wife was a single mother with an eight year old son.  She had left her husband while pregnant when she found he was screwing around.  I had promised myself I would never remarry. However, after revisiting my wife three times in three years I was so sad being away from her, I just had to get married.  After marrying we lived outside Nha Trang for twelve years before moving back to Australia for our then eight old daughter to learn English and get a good education. Our daughter finishs high school next year and will then go on to university.  We are a very happy family.  As for our 17 years age difference between my wife and me, it just never mattered and still doesn't.

  I'm 65 and my Vietnamese wife is 43, we had been  together for over five years before we got married, and she chose me not the other way around, a lot of Vietnamese women want to be with ex-pats not for the money, but because ex-pats treat them better, my wife was abused by her Vietnamese husband who would go out get drunk, come home and beat her up, he only wanted to have sex with her if he wanted a child, his firstborn was a girl, if you know about Asian culture, the boy if favoured as the firstborn, apart from the fact he was abusive he also had numerous affairs with other Vietnamese women, all my wife ever wanted was to be treated right and cared for properly.

  I was 45 when I met my 24 yo Vietnamese girlfriend...  I'm now 50 and she is 29, we have a 18 month old little perfect man and we will be relocating to the US next year...

  I looked for years for a suitable woman in the US but without luck . I finally went to Bali to visit my son and was introduced to  Indonesian women . Case closed . There's a 35 year age gap and she's the sweetest most honest woman I have ever met . We were married last October and I couldn't be happier . She's now working a good job here  in the USA and is also very happy.

  Absolutely love your videos and your insights. You mentioned something about being able to integrate into the Vietnamese family (towards the end of the video): you should either do a short video elaborating on that and giving advice on how to keep a Vietnam relationship etc, or answer something like this in your next Q&A video 😊👍🏼💪🏽

  My Vietnam wife is 28yrs younger than me..<br>I think. We have a 10yr old daughter. My wife has more money than me, &nbsp;it&apos;s not a issue. I tried to talk her out of marriage but she was right the only real way to prosper in Vietnam is to be married. We together have had a loving wonderful 10yrs. However now i am old and spend my time doing not much. My wife spends her time making money...bundels of it. Our daughter is so beautiful and unbelieable has white skin which makes her in Vietnam culture &quot;a movie star&quot;...out of the bogs of Ireland ?

  I have lived in the USA for 40 years. In Vietnam for 9 years. I have aunts, cousins and nieces in Vietnam. Trust me. These women doesn&apos;t like older men. They liked your money. So don&apos;t get upset when they leave when you are broke. I know it so well i don&apos;t even hook up any of my friends in the USA with my family. Looking at you know nothing and getting people hurt.

  Dating is very different to a long term relationship. Economic and cultural differences are the major reason Vietnamese like foreigners. Age can be an issue depending greatly on the family. Many families dont like big age groups. Also note in Vietnam the male has many advanages over females. So the women do suffer under vietnamese law.

  This is an excellent topic; thanks for talking about it. I&apos;ve been to Thailand twice and Vietnam once. To add: Japan three times. I had a 5-year relationship with a Thai woman who was retired and 4 years younger than me in our 50s. She could live 6 months with me in the states, and I could visit. The relationship was amazing, just so much fun. <br><br>It made me wonder; I wasn&apos;t sure about men and younger (30s) Thai or Vietnamese women and if it was real love or financially comfortable love? I would love to read real testimonies of old/young relationships that were stable and trusting. Thank you.

  There is this old gentleman man named Singh (1911-2025) and he started running in his late 80s and he lived until 114 years old. Your guidance inspires me so much. Thank you, Sir.
