  Why the hell, at retirement age, should I...<br>1) get married<br>2) cohabitate<br>3) impregnate<br>4) raise some other fool&apos;s kids<br>5) tie myself down inconveniently <br>6) throw away all the peace, quiet, rest, adventure and fun.. &nbsp;that I had been working my whole life for<br>7) make myself more valuable in prison or dead than alive<br>8) support an entire clan of strangers that weren&apos;t there for me when my a$$ was in pain working with ailments all those years<br>9) give into a self defeating trend of stu_pid decision making<br>10) make myself more miserable with drama<br>11) leave one stressful life for another<br>12) put myself at a disadvantage <br>13) subject myself to people&apos;s bullsh$t<br>14) do anything other than enjoy my life in my retirement?<br>WHY???<br>To each their own!<br>✌️

  Thank you for this information. &nbsp;I&apos;m &nbsp;68 from the USA, &nbsp;and married to my wife who is 78 in August. &nbsp;We&apos;ve &nbsp;been together for 35 years and like any other marriage, it takes a lot of work for the relationship to work &nbsp;from both of us. I&apos;ve been to the Phillipines and Thailand and even dated a Filipina back &nbsp;in the &nbsp;70&apos;s when I was 19 and 20 and she was 33. I&apos;m certain it&apos;s why it didn&apos;t end in marriage. &nbsp;Plus I was in the Navy. &nbsp; Long story short... your words are excellent in explaining the culture &nbsp;over there. &nbsp;Thank you for your insight.

  32+ years living and working in Indonesia and every single word he spoke is the absolute truth. I was very lucky to partner up with an unusual Indonesian woman, well-educated, honest, hardworking, driven to succeed, and we have been running a SUCCESSFUL consulting/training company, BUT most of our clients are either MULTI-NATIONAL COMPANIES working in Indonesia or based in other countries. PLUS, as a disabled Vietnam vet, most of my big medical expenses are covered by the VA, even though I have to travel to S&apos;pore to get quality medical treatment..
