Nothing will ever reach the magic of Deep Purple in 1972! MADE IN JAPAN is the ultimate live rock album and will remain untouchable forever. No tribute band, including Demon’s Eye, could ever match Purple at their peak – they were masters of improvisation and musical telepathy. What we do is celebrate that era on stage and keep the flame alive for audiences who still love this sound as much as we do. If we can give the audience even a small glimpse of what it felt like back then – raw energy, improvisation, and that unique Purple spirit – we are more than happy. Forever grateful for the music and the inspiration! Long Live Deep Purple! Cheers from Germany!

And this kids is how you do a live show, no auto tune no backing tapes, no prancing about, no changing outfits for every song, everybody playing their actual instruments, no sound effects or fancy light show, just pure rock, with a bit of genius thrown in, the right people at the right time, never ever going to be another deep purple same goes for led zep and black sabbath, with the other man in black Tony iommi the riff master giving us so many great guitar moments, there will be an immense gap when these groups have gone

I tuned in just for the last track, Space Truckin, but what a magical immersive experience it turned out to be.
I laid on the floor, put my headphones on and closed my eyes, and it felt as if I were there, in Osaka, on August 16th, 1972.
No drugs needed, just Jon's organ talking to Ian's drums, just absolute sync between each member of the band, and the very delicate panoramic mix across the whole stage, wow, total drop out.
