Nicely done. I've done Quito many times myself in the DC8 then later on in B757. Much nicer with the glass in the 757. I'm retired now so I will watch you kids have fun.

As I had said on one of the other Lufthansa videos, these Germans are sooo Professional. Fly with this airline anytime!

The look on captain's face when he landed.. He knew he made a bumper 😉😁... But kudos to the captain and his co pilot for the level of professionalism they exhibited

The female co-pilot has a wonderful voice. Very fluent, clear, and pleasant sounding.

Sunday 10/212023-I was a little down due to the state of our world today, so I revisited my two old friends here enroute to Quito. Hello old friends if you happen to see this. Although you didn't know it, I enjoyed travelling along with you on the breathtaking flight several times. It, and your subsequent departure are two of my favorite virtual adventures. These Lufthansa pilots make it look so easy. I love how they transition seamlessly between German and very competent English. This is quite different from the Korean, Chinese and Russian crews who struggle with minimal English competency at JFK

Be interesting to see these two pilots landing at the (now) newer Quito airport and their comments how it is compared to the old one—or at least how they are doing, five years after this video was posted.
