  He got away with it so long because he is a malignant misogynist who was surrounded by malignant misogynists. At 66 I am still amazed at the misogynistic utterances that expel from men who don't even realize it. There's an element of it that indicates they believe the women hearing it are too dumb to notice. WE NOTICE!

I expect they felt she was an easy target for them to coerce and take advantage of to abuse further. Carrick probably took her to the pub to show her off and &apos;show off&apos; the extreme level of control he had over her. <br><br>Also we already know how these men were getting away with it. I wish someone would just say it plainly for once.

  I don’t condone violence at all but l hope Carrick and Couzens are living every single day in fear for their own safety in prison …..they deserve to live the rest of their lives like that for what they have done. I’ve no sympathy whatsoever so ever for them, and those like &nbsp;Ian Watkins and Ian Huntley got exactly what they deserved….to meet their maker for their eternal judgement..

  These two coppers are just the tip of the iceberg there’s plenty out there who are bullies and assault people and get away with it it’s systemic in the police force that’s why people hate them

  Neil is exactly what I expect and want from the police. &nbsp;<br>I believe 1500 officers have gone after these two horrendous monsters . <br>You can see that even retired it still hurts his professionalism .<br>Thankyou for your service sir.

  The police ignoring things is the norm in this country. We have politicians saying we need more controls and spying on the public &quot;to keep us safe&quot;, but the police do not act on the current info they have. Maybe fix that first.

  As you state that you were in charge in South East London at one point, I &nbsp;am astonished that you have not done an episode about Robert Napper. In particular, the police mishandling of the murder of Samantha Bissett &amp; her daughter Jasmine, which led to the murder of Rachel Nickel.

  Good episode. It seems that the more Carrick got away with the bolder he got and you have to ask how the hell he got away with it for so long. I hope you are right Andy that he won&apos;t ever get out but I guess that will depend in the future how full the prisons get. Forgive me for being sceptical.

  Lots of criminals in the &nbsp;police allowed into the service. They should have an impecible record to be a police officer
