  I think the movie was respectful and did her career justice. I&apos;m glad they didn&apos;t show too much of her lowest points and death, not like that bio pic about Marylin Monroe.

  The actress was great, I kept thinking she should play Brandy in a movie because she looks more like her. She did an amazing job and I wanted to cry in several moments.

  I agree with everyone that said she needs to be remembered for her talent and not her personal life. &nbsp; &nbsp;I love all her songs, she had a amazing voice. &nbsp;Left behind a lot of good music.

  Another fact: The Bodyguard was written for Diana Ross between the 70s and 80s, with Sylvester Stallone playing Kevin Costner&apos;s role. Glad that didn&apos;t happen.

  As a kid in the 80s I fell in love with Whitney Houston&apos;s music. I would have never guessed folks called her a sell out in our/black community. She was amazing. Just shows you the hate within is real.

  I unexpectedly burst into tears &nbsp;walking out right after watching the credits. I’ve rarely been hit emotionally after a film, and hadn’t known too much about Whitney Houston or been a follower of her music much. Just went because my wife was a fan. I’m so glad to have now been able to see not only how profound her vocal talents were, but also her meticulous choice of music. Her lesser known but quite substantial challenges behind the scenes were kind of a shock to me, but very well portrayed. I’ve become a huge fan now. I hope the actress who portrayed her wins an Oscar.
