  Prince might’ve been on the shorter side, but musically? The man was a giant. <br>Not sure how many folks know this, but it’s one of my favorite stories about him. So Prince was at a local music store back in his hometown, just browsing. While he was there, the owner mentioned that a nearby school was about to shut down its music program—budget cuts, no funding, couldn’t afford instruments, the whole deal. <br>Prince didn’t say much. Just left the store without buying anything. <br>A few days later, he rolls back in—with a truck. He tells the owner to load it up with everything that the school would need to keep the music program alive and thriving. Instruments, gear, the works. When the owner asked what kind of note to send with the delivery, Prince said, “Don’t mention my name. Just say, ‘Send it with love.’” <br>So the school gets this truckload of high-end music equipment out of nowhere, and they’re completely baffled. Like, who did this? Why? It took them months to figure out it was Prince.<br> <br>And that’s exactly why I love Mr. Nelson. Not just for the music—but for the quiet, powerful kindness behind it.

  You can call Prince anything you want but he definitely wasn’t a liar and kept it real always. He never sucked up to anyone

  I’m 61 years old and ran across Prince in 1977-78 while I was 15-16 years old. He added to my library of music which never stopped growing in the last 45 some odd years.

  Dude, Prince did a duet with Madonna!! He wrote, produced and featured on the song LOVE SONG on her album &quot;Like a prayer&quot;... There is a whole lot of &quot;allegedly&quot; in this &quot;report&quot; 🤣

  “Sanitized soul” perfectly describes Bolton and Simply Red’s cover of “If you don’t know me by now.” His criticism of Madonna as style over substance and that her success would ruin the industry, was prophetic.
