This is interesting. My company does a lot of work with restaurants. This video got me thinking so I checked back through some archived drawings and they do use a pvc style roofing membrane called Durolast, but they used to call out TPO. They also use 4" or 5" of rigid insulation. I know insulation is part of another podcast, but i think most of that had to deal with insulation in the walls. I've also seen batt insulation called out in wood roof joist when there is a remodel or an addition to the store. Some of the older stores may have built-up roofing systems, but most of the things that i deal with are single ply roofing systems

This was great information, broken down so easily to digest and learn. I have one question, where would KEE PVC roofing fall in terms of determining if that would be better for the project? Or is it less used or not recommended?
