  I advise anyone who is dealing with an avoidant or someone who holds everything in to go watch some bodycam videos were children are saved [or never make it] from terrible home situations. I normally don't watch videos like that because I'm sensitive, but today I did and it's really putting into perspective how some spent the formative years of their life and how it fractured them and caused them to not feel safe to feel or express anything. I know my person went through something terrible, but I forget sometimes after all the outside chatter separating me from the truth. Seeing those reminded me to see that child within him- even though I don't know the details of what he went through. Just know he is that innocent child who is still struggling with the things he never learned or even witnessed. Have compassion for that child- even if it's in private and at a distance.

  My lesson in this 4 year relationship was to stop over giving and not to chase out of fear of abandonment. I have learned my lesson. My ex is a narcissistic, player, runner who betrayed, manipulated, and lied to me. I am traumatized from everything.

  From the get-go on this one… as a child he dreamed of being a lumberjack. He was abandoned as a child and has that wound. Never opened up to anyone like he did with me. We were married, divorced and we’re working on getting back together. You were sweating and feeling a lot built up inside. Lots of tension. He holds things in, has hypertension and high blood pressure, breaks out in a sweat a lot. He began working on his healing last fall with a professional. Our divorce triggered my DNOTS. We definitely cracked each other open! He’s very afraid in this vulnerability and is being careful. Things are moving forward very slowly but it’s good. He is not where he wants to be, as you said. We both acknowledge our mistakes and don’t want repeat them. That said, I am hanging on too tightly to the outcome with him. Thank you for that reminder. 💜

  You described me, exactly. I almost feel like you’re talking to my person about me. I’m tense, alone, mirrored, and trying to chill out my ego. I’m hermit status rn, but I’m starting college in the Fall. My guides and angels are helping me heal from trauma from childhood. PTSD. I’ve been working on myself for a while. I even resigned from my job. I’m safe and okay. I’ve disconnected our souls because I needed to move on. I definitely feel better about myself. I’m thankful to him and I hope he forgives me. I have no intention of reconnecting.

  I am so proud of her. Beyond the beyond, and always. I know my ego protects me with anger and I wish I had been softer with her. I love her so much and I&apos;m trying to just trust the journey more. I&apos;ve changed so much because I met her. &nbsp;I keep learning from her, every time I think about our connection, I see something new or feel something new that helps me along the way.

  Wow. That energy of holding it all in was spot on. Also, the abandonment you felt is a true experience for him, as he was left behind as a very young child at an air show. He’s made jokes that his parents really aren’t his real parents because he was the only blonde child &amp; different by ways of how to view &amp; go about life. He has recently started feeling ‘closed in’ and like he ‘can’t breathe’ at times - but doesn’t believe anxiety is a real thing. This connection has definitely been about growth and becoming our best selves. Beautifully crafted triggers that opened the doors for us to explore new ways &amp; perspectives.
