  Howdy viewer. Here&apos;s a little preamble to this video for context.<br><br>This is a paired down and censored version of the original video released on the 19th of October. YouTube flagged it as inappropriate for ads, so I had to excise a pretty big chunk from the video. Case in point: my entire review of Phantasmagoria 2 was removed! In addition to that, there are many small edits made to avoid &quot;excessive&quot; violence or mention of heavy topics. <br><br>When talking about a game, I always like to have a balanced discussion on the cultural significance of certain aspects of that game, even when those subjects are controversial.   I know the Phantasmagoria 2 review isn’t here anymore, but I thought I’d mention that in 2020 Lorelei Shannon said in an interview that she now regrets killing Trevor off.

  Youtube&apos;s bots are so inhuman. You handled the 1st upload with utmost respect to the subject matter while giving a really good breakdown on the games. Nothing in them seemed inappropriate. You aren&apos;t out here making trashy uploads for shock value or clickbait, the upload was a genuine project you put a lot of time into and treated it like a professional would. Like a historian would.

  as a german i have to say gabriel knight 2 is extremely authentic regarding the german setting. everything is spot on for germany, even more specific bavaria, munich, in the 80s or early 90s. the clothes, the interior, the actors, the accent. i am 99% sure it was actually shot in germany with mostly german actors.<br>i love that they put in all that work to be super authentic, as most of the world would not even notice any of that, i would imagine. quite cool, that they did it that way!

  I&apos;ll post it again, just for the info.<br>So, funny thing the actor who played Curtis has a youtube channel.<br><br>He&apos;s done some pretty great interviews with other Point and Click game devs/actors of the time.<br>Conversations with Curtis, worth checking out.<br>(Remembered the channel this time, perks of not being half asleep).

  Fun fact in regards to a comment about Phantasmagoria 1: In some states, if the buyer asks the real estate agent if a house is potentially haunted, (if any deaths or unnatural occurences happened on the property) the real estate agent is legally required to answer them. I was a real estate appraiser for a few years, and appraised a few properties where weird stuff definitely happened so I did research on it. Fun stuff.
