  ALL beaches in Dominican Republic are public, it doesn&apos;t matter if is the most expensive resort, 60 meters into the beach MUST be open to the public by law.

  Excellent video Chris and Carol, thanks for all the videos you upload....Scotland can be very depressing in winter with only six hours of daylight so these videos cheer me up loads. I loved the beaches and thought it very funny of the dogs chasing the drones. I hope the two of you have a lovely Christmas and all the best for 2024....adios amigos. ❤

  The Dominican Republic is a beautiful paradise, I saw a photograph coffee table book on Amazon about this country full of beautiful photos and is gorgeous!

  I am Dominican, born and raised in NY, with strong ties back to the island. The first time I went to Playa Caletón, I feel so in love that I purchased land not far from it. The northern coast (from Samana all the way to Sousa) in my opinion is the best part of DR and it’s not exploited yet!

  In the 1990&apos;s I went to the DR for a fashion shoot and what I remember best is that we got to eat a lot of chicken and goat meat -and there were a lot of school children coming out of the jungle towards the main roads dressed in pristine white school uniforms.

  I have learned that wherever you travel in the world, if the free roaming dogs are friendy and even playful, its a very strong indicator that the local populace are kind and friendly as well. This beach in Dominican Republic reminds me of the beaches in the Philippines but its a little tragic that most of the visitors are not locals, but non native tourists. The red snapper meal looked delicious!
