I guess you understand that while you were checking your opponent's games, he was likely checking yours. And since you are 400 points lower he decided it's a good time to experiment a bit and play a different opening.

Mr Pyrih's Q manoeuvres towards the end were astonishingly accurate .. finding positions where it both defended and attacked all the key squares - very instructive .. my Q so often ends up being a one trick pony.

Both players seeing that the king/rook fork actually ends up bad for white because of the queen sacrifice is amazing to me. I try to find explicit examples of things I wouldn't catch myself when I watch videos like this so I can understand what the difference in thinking is between myself and strong players, and this is the perfect example.
