One thing I like about all your videos is the respect you show to each other. Great to see.

Years ago when our kids were little. Had a 1988 Dodge Caravan and had the fuel pump go bad. Doing the work on my gravel driveway, not fun. Dropped the tank, went to the auto parts store got the new one put it in and it ran great. Filled it full of gas and the next morning, no start. Pump not running. DANG IT! Drain the fuel, pull the pump, back to the store. They give me another one. Put it all back together. Runs for 5 min. and stops. Pull it out, back to the store, they refund me the money. Go to Dodge dealer, get an OE pump and never had another issue with it for the next few years and I traded it for newer van. Live and learn. Thanks for your great videos. God Bless.

Doing the job twice because of bad parts is the worst. At least when I mess up, its a learning experience.

I see why the Snap on clamps were in the bargain bin.......they didn't seem to close off the fuel line very well.

This is my buddy's car and I have been acting as technical advisor along the way.

I have to say that Sherwood, Chris, Sierra and the rest of the Royalty team have gone above and beyond to help rescue this car.

The owner is very happy that he will be able to drive this car back home and keep it on the road.

I think someone at the shop may have a grudge with Chris as it seems he gets the teeniest cars to work on.

I hope to someday be able to stop in with some treats for the shop.

Keep up all the terrific work!

Mr Rich

No hardware included is standard on most automotive replacement parts today. Still charging more for something that used to include them.

Just had my dealer install new OE struts in a 2013 Tahoe a couple of weeks ago. They failed within about two weeks. Took it in and they put in new ones for free. The best part was when I bounced the front end by hand to show the service writer and technician, they just stood there, basically slack jawed, eyes wide as it continued to bounce for about five cycles after I stopped bouncing. After they got it up on the rack and had a look, they told me the struts were “trashed’ and leaking like crazy. I really like this dealer. Honest, fair, and excellent work. Larry H. Miller Chevrolet in Salt Lake City. I’ve been going there since 1999.

This Mercedes was designed before all the good engineers retired.
