  It is amazing that your parents managed to not only pay this impossible sum for your sisters, but also bought a house. All so you could stay together and be well educated. Your parents deserve every kindness given to them. May the rest of their life be easy. ☺️

  I adopted a baby girl from China when she was 7 months old....born in 1998, she is now 27. Of course, I knew of the one-child policy but I learned even more from your video. It's heartwarming to hear how hard your parents struggled to keep you and your sisters together.  Thank you for sharing your story :)

  Your parents are probably happy now with their decision, having 4 beautiful girls, most of my Chinese friends say they felt so lonely growing up without siblings

  I have a childhood friend who I now consider a sister. She was adopted from China during the 1 child era. She recently found a full blooded sister who was also adopted. They are positive they most likely have a brother as well as possibly other sisters. I am happy they were able to find each other but heartbroken with how their story unfolded<br><br>Your parents are truly resilient and remarkable people with trying to keep the family together. I also am the oldest of 4 sisters and could not imagine a live where we were separated

  It&apos;s kinda impressive that you were not given up for adoption as the pressure on your mum and dad must of been HUGE, to have a son.... This tells me your dad is a good man and your mum is warrior... Hopefully things are not as hard now.

  Can I just say what wonderful parents you have ? I’ve been reading a lot CN novels and about chinas culture and history. Considering the deep preference girls over boys and so many girls are treated like crap. To protect all four of yall is incredible .

  It’s sad that women were blamed for not having son’s when it’s the man that it’s really responsible for the gender of the child. &nbsp; &nbsp;Because the sperm that penetrates, the egg decides the sex of the child.<br>Yet when with all the advancements in science and knowledge traditional societies , still blame women
