  I’m so glad younger women (30 and under) are really starting to not accept this behavior, and definitely NOT laugh it off. It’s almost more upsetting that while these men are acting like narcissistic toddlers, their girlfriends/wives are just filming and laughing

  I have a sneaking suspicion these dudes downplay the pain their partners are going through because to them, childbirth is just what women are &quot;made for,&quot; and therefore no big deal. That would also explain why they underestimate the danger.

  My wife just gave birth a few months ago I really don’t understand how these men are sleeping while your lover or your baby could literally die at any moment. I don’t think sitting next to your partner and making sure they’re ok is really that hard.

  i feel like there should be a balance of telling new dads &quot;it&apos;s ok that you&apos;re tired, it&apos;s ok that you&apos;re overwhelmed, you just saw your partner go through something horrible, but you CANNOT pretend you had it worse than they did&quot;

  This even more depressing when you realise - oh, woman can die during childbirth. Your newborn, that you are waiting for, could just an easily become stillborn. Like imagine sleeping through your wifes labour... And she dies. Cause million of things can go wrong - it&apos;s childbirth.
