  so here&apos;s the thing about letters in gamecube animal crossing: they will never actually properly understand your letters. that&apos;s simply beyond the scope of every single computer of that time. they are programmed to understand positive/negative intent, however. a good rule of thumb: proper spelling/grammar/punctuation, short sentences (4, maybe 5 words max), use every single line, and write frequently. this is a good &apos;copypasta&apos; you can use:<br><br>Hey good buddy!<br>How are you doing?<br>Let&apos;s go fishing sometime.<br>When is your birthday?<br>Please write back soon.<br><br>obvs you can write whatever you want as long as it follows that general formula. good luck funny brothers! may you be blessed with infinite fruit from this advice.<br><br>ps: gifts in the letters are always appreciated, even if it&apos;s just a random shell you found on the beach, but I&apos;m sure you already knew that.
