Naming her Nanda Devi stirred the power of suggestion.

It's not her dream; it's her father's dream, which he's trying to realize through his daughter.
He had prepared her for that moment and didn't even try to stop her when he realized she was sick.

People who won't listen to advice about going down the mountain to safety to save their lives are selfish, they are not thinking about their family, she knew the risks and cannot blame the mountain.

Nanda Devi Mountain is a symbol of deep faith, emotion, and goodwill for the local people. Whenever I look at this divine mountain from my home, I simply get lost in it.

Excellent video. I enjoy watching hiking stories and always try to understand the psychology behind what drives people to more extreme actions than most. You did a superb job outlining Nanda’s backstory and drive to get to the summit. This was an unfamiliar story to me about this young woman and the video was very compelling. Thank you.!
