The Wave is my favorite hotel, but I love being in central, near central mall, and on beach road. Breakfast is amazing, they'll store your bags if your waiting to leave, and a couple of other little things. The price turns alot of people away, but I only visit 1-2 times a year so I don't mind saving up. I'll be trying the hilton next time.

Poor effort. For what it’s worth this is what I think. Stay in any of these and you’re truly in Heaven. <br>1. Royal Cliff - Out on it’s own <br>2. The Wave - Cool as hell<br>3. Amethyst - Nightlife #1<br>4. Akara - Just Fabulous <br>5 The Somerset - Superb

I was surprised with Pattaya. I avoided going for the longest time due to its "reputation" however realized there are a lot of cool things to do!

Staying in Pattaya for three of my four weeks in Thailand starting next week. I'll be at Crystal Suites above the Crystal Club gogo on LK Metro, and then Sumalee Residence near Soi Honey. Both for under $15 per night. So cheap, I could just move out if I don't like them, or have a sleeping room and a boom boom room haha.

Amber hotel is also a very good hotel for the price. Have stayed there a few times.
