After seeing the Rosa Kleb fight sequence with the knife in the shoe, I sustained an injury requiring hospitalisation. As part of my recovery programme I met a senior nurse who specialised in and taught acupuncture. At my first meeting, scheduled emerged from behind some cubicle curtains, I noticed an uncanny resemblance to Kleb. Height. Foreign accent, and the same style shoes. Relating my experience to family members later I made a joke about if she clicked her heels I was away like lightning. She treated me both in hospital and later privately for a prolapsed disc. She was terrific both as a physio but also as a person. I sent my son for treatment to his back. She got us both fixed up. I cannot speak too highly of her. Nevertheless, privately, amongst family, we acknowledged the Bond scene with affection. She eventually retired and passed us on to another acupuncturist. A really great lady.

Once in an interview Sean was asked "Who was the number one Bond Villain?" to which Connery said "Oh Albert Broccoli of coarse!"

Actually the fight between Bond and Red Grant is the first modern intense fight scene. Watching it is a lesson in cinema as it has close-ups, fast cutting and yet you can always see clearly what is happening. Some modern films flub that and make it hard to see what is happening, but the fight in From Russia With Love is perfection.

Daniela Bianchi had a sensual innocence that puts her at the top of my Bond Girl list. Not overtly sexual, but subtle sensuality.

Grew up with Roger Moore, but after I read the Flemming books as a teen, "From Russia with Love" became my favorite. Still is.

I was in the Air Force in the mid sixties and stationed in Turkey, a three hour ferry ride from Istanbul which I visited from time to time....I loved this movie and it remains my Bond favorite...good job.

My favourite Bond movie. A true spy movie without "absurd" characters trying to take over the world. A subtle love story. A fight scene in the train was really well done, a youngish Robert Shaw playing a very realistic "hit man"

This I think is my favorite Bond film. It seemed much more realistic than the other Bond films.

I like the legendary Pedro Armendáriz. This was his last film.

My all-time favorite was the "Three Blind Mice" scene in Dr. No. My second was the iconic "Bond, James Bond" while lighting a smoke.
