  Funke definitely got bullied into retracting every single thing he has said in that artstyle video, because there's no way someone would to do that hard of a 180 on something as objective and simple as wishing we're still playing Team Fortress 2 and not a bootleg Fortnite.

  You mention the teleporters and heal beams as absurdity, but I&apos;d like to add that they still make visually coherent and aesthetic sense by fitting in with the game&apos;s 50&apos;s espionage vibe. They&apos;re fantastical, but I wouldn&apos;t call them fully absurd, because they still follow the core thread of the game&apos;s era<br><br>The banana is none of those things

  I think he&apos;s just fatigued from being at the center of the artstyle debate. He&apos;s trying to step out of it but can&apos;t stop shooting himself in the leg by responding in stead of just letting it go

  In my opinion, it seems like Funke hates the idea of having pushback on any of his points being made. Hence why there’s so many contradictions in his statements nowadays. Which sucks, because he’s very capable of being articulate when he needs to be. But I suppose it makes sense considering one crowd is well known for having very unhinged outbursts over stuff like this.
