  Yeah, I love how the casinos are known to be run by criminals but the FBI helps them to crack down on cheaters. 😂

  So this story really fascinated me and I did a little further research ( such as I could, fairly limited but consistent info) cuz u wanted to know what became of her. &nbsp;Turns out no one knows, she apparently never turned up in Nevada casinos again ( and you know that’s accurate because they would have certainly spotted her) and there are several throrurs that, with her identity exposed, the mob got a hold of her and offed her for her cheats. &nbsp;Considering this was 1980-81 that is very plausible.

  A surprising amount of restraint from this crew considering they were able to keep it up for so long without getting sloppy. Only real thing they seemed to suffer from was letting too many people in on the scheme from outside with the shady dealers.

  I was born in the wrong time. Take me back to when slot machines could be beaten with a little flashlight and blackjack didnt even have cameras.

  Like others have commented, this makes no sense. &nbsp;He takes an ace off the table (the dealer would notice) and then she has blackjack somehow? &nbsp;She is &quot;doing all the work&quot; and she is &quot;placing bets for him&quot;? &nbsp;What?! &nbsp;He is the one doing the cheating. &nbsp;And you don&apos;t place bets for other players in blackjack.

  I often check names to see if these stories are real. Yes this one is. Her name Ida Sommers. A misdemeanour and a $2,000 fine is nuts. Maybe they did not know how much she scamed. I have read that often bank robbers pee their pants. Luckily she did not too. Guess the kids had all money could buy after this.

  I guess I&apos;m used to playing now. &nbsp;The idea you could palm a card or swap a deck seems insane to me especially if the dealer wasnt in on it.
