Thank you for this video...I am from Sapporo before moving to the US for more than 50yrs ago and this video reminded me of living in the snow and that sounds of walking in the snow brought tons of memories...also for the first time I think I heard your voice very nice voice by the way....thank you again!!!!! :))

しょっちゅう大内宿に行く者です。隣の県なので自分の車で行って日帰りですが、すごく良い所です。冬は豪雪地帯なので行けませんが、冬も泊まってみたいな。絵はがきに冬の大内宿が写ってるのがありますが、幻想的で本当に美しいです。行った事のない方は是非行ってみて下さい。大内宿は本当にオススメです。もしかしたら、鶴ヶ城に行く途中で土方歳三が寄ったかも(分かりませんが)。

I just know the people who owns that inn works very hard. Theres not a speck of dust even in the attic. Its very old but it what makes Japan very beautiful.

I would love to sit and talk with the lovely lady selling the amazake. I bet she has so many stories to tell.<br><br>I love that this whole town is almost like a little time capsule. These are everyday people living a life today, but as caretakers of the past. Just so cool. And all the hot food steaming up in winter just adds to the ambience of it being a place to heal your soul.
