You made my day, my week, my year! Kurama-dera is absolutely my top favorite place in Kyoto, but I've never been in winter ⛩️ To see those verrmillion lamps, torii gates and 800 year old cedar trees bathed in snow is spellbinding. Your beautiful music and stunning photography bring this amazing sanctuary to life in a winter wonderland. Thank you 🙏

It's been over thirty years and we still miss Kyoto. My memories there will stay etched in my mind and heart for many more lifetimes, as other lifetime memories of the sacred city come back to me to this day.

The footage feels incredibly cinematic — the heavy snowfall gives rural Kyoto such a special, almost dreamlike winter atmosphere.
