  Gotta appreciate the supervisor leaving all the dangerous areas open to the new guy until he proves he’s not an idiot. Then they’re like, “This one’s worth keeping around. Give him a raise and close off the death traps”.

  Indoor work in quiet hours, no supervisor in my neck, no small talk with drama inducing co-workers. <br>Well-behaved and docile monsters, that leave me be. And a bonus on top of it? I would love a job like that.

  Brian knows what&apos;s good, fr. Monsters can do whatever if they&apos;re not hurting anyone, who cares? It&apos;s a safe enough work place, quiet, you get left alone, get paid enough, no harassment, supervisor actually meets with you, why rock the boat? Mind your business and do your tasks.

  The part about the &apos;zombie&apos; workers in the basement production line is what got me. The idea of an eternal, mindless shift that doesn&apos;t even exist on the official map is a masterpiece of dread. It makes you wonder what exactly is being &apos;packed and shipped&apos; from those sub-levels. Another 10/10 for the Lighthouse universe!

  An isolation bonus and the warehouse comes with 20-foot coworkers who never gossip? Honestly… where do I apply 😂 For real tho, the way you built the tension from tiny ‘normal’ noises to full-on WHAT IS THAT was insanely gripping, awesome story.

  Story 2 describes that Inq super villain from Batman Beyond. Morphs between sold, liquid and semi solid. That had to have been really creepy.
