He vowed to never go to the ocean again but eventually became a certified diver and was certified by the very guy that rescued him. And he said he feels that he will rescue someone else in a similar situation some day

Holy shit can you imagine the immense relief he felt when he saw his rescuers? He thought he was going to die in there.

When he asked how long he was in there, they said almost 3 days and he couldn’t believe it because he was thinking he was only there for 12 hours. Brain is an amazing organ.

Its crazy because in a capsized boat you don't expect a hand reaching out for you in the waters, nightmare fuel. But you can tell right after the diver is excited to see a survivor.

Its December 2023 and I can't stop coming back to this video because I can't imagine what this man went through and what he must have been thinking.. Great work by the rescue team

Being awake for 3 days and being dehydrated is extremely extremely hard to fight through and have the physically and mental capacity to follow simple commands. He was so disoriented. It truly is a miracle he didnt die during the rescue
