Morel is a one-of-a-kind mathematician. She has had no successful Ph.D. students, which speaks to her isolation and her need to work alone.

Tangente! Is there an English-language magazine like that? <br><br>I remember the Kvant magazine in the Soviet Union, it was exactly that kind of magazine. It inspired a whole lot of kids to get interested in math.

Your new channel is amazing. Most channels teach you about the world. This new channel teaches you about the thing that's interpreting the world—your own mind. That's a much bigger rabbit hole, and I have a feeling most people don't realize yet how valuable that is.

Fascinating! You mention she was hired as a professor at Harvard. As an assistant Professor? As an Associate Professor? Or as a full Professor? Also she then went to Princeton. To Princeton University? Or. To the Institute of Advance Study in Princeton?
