I tell my husband "Breaks at Disney are for rich people!" 😂

If there are two Fantasmic shows, always do the second one. The crowd is rarely more than half of the capacity, so finding a good viewing area is very easy.

My favorite trick is to ask for that free water, but have a water enhancer that you brought from home to avoid buying a soda

If you are bringing an electric wheelchair, bring a small flag that sticks up or some solar or battery powered twinkle lights to put on your wheelchair to make it more visible. People will cut in front of a wheelchair all the time (trust me, i know from personal experience) and I’m sure it’s because they just didn’t see/ notice it was there. I saw some with these and I was like “oh, what a great idea!”

I used to avoid breaks and just go hard all day. <br>I found the day goes far better if you just sit down and eat every few hours. it doesnt take tons of time, but will keep you going much longer in the day.

The taking breaks advice is so true! Disney, especially if you are a rope drop-park close kind of group, is so energy taking and breaks are a must. Something to note is that if you don't want to take long breaks in the park (or even if you do), create "break days" in your trip! My family always does at least one break-day that is dedicated to sleeping in and lounging around at the resort. Its must have and lets everyone recuperate before going back to park fun.

100% agree with taking a midday break even if that means doing so in the parks! If you typically eat one sit-down meal a day, make it lunch so you're in the air conditioning during the hottest part of the day. Save those indoor shows for after lunch: Hall of Presidents, Finding Nemo, Turtle Talk With Crush, the Frozen Singalong -- your feet will thank you!

Scissors, moleskin padding, baby wipes, plastic grocery store bags, and a partial roll of paper towels for the room can be lifesavers. And storage bags to store that leftover pizza in the mini fridge so it doesn't sit out all day and night in that box. Also, take out your phone, portable phone bank, and umbrella and hold them in front of you going through security to avoid getting wanded.

TIP: Pack some Moleskin padding in your park bag. With 14k steps per day, it’s been a total lifesaver for those painful foot blisters that can ruin a trip - it’s a game-changer every time.

As an out of state visitor who goes at least once a year, my biggest piece of advice is good socks and better shoes. For me, crocs are the go-to. I know… but they work well for me and my feet feel great after walking 20+ miles in a weekend and I’m nearing 40yo. Also, step up your cardio/walking at least a month ahead of time. In addition, fanny packs or cross body bags are a must. Phones, wallets, keys, ponchos, pins (iykyk) etc will be secure and remain easily accessible. Hope everyone visiting soon has a great time! Going back in Jan ‘26!
