  They were so close to making this the perfect Harry Potter game, and that&apos;s what&apos;s frustrating. You have this incredible school ready to go, but it doesn&apos;t feel like you&apos;re actually a student there; it&apos;s more like you&apos;re a tourist. There&apos;s no classes you have to go to, you can wander the castle freely at night, you can use unforgivable curses in the hallways without consequence, you can fly halfway across the country to go explore a cript or murder hundreds of poachers and no one will even notice to you&apos;re gone, etc. There&apos;s no Quidditch, no holiday events, no dances or romance, no chess or exploding snap, no famous witch and wizard cards to collect, no secret bathroom store to buy dungbombs at. It nails the darkness and mystery of the series really well, but it struggles to capture whimsy and adventure of living in a magic castle.

  The side quest with Sebastian was way more fun then the main story plot

  This game would have benefited so much from dlc missions/spells and a proper NPC system in the castle. Being able to attack students, get chased by teachers and Prefects and then go to detention or escape would have made the world feel way more alive. Instead all the students are shadow ghosts basically the same code as the butterflies

  Gameplay was on the weaker side but the world building is what made the game such a phenomenal experience for me. Exploring Hogwarts and Hogsmeade alone felt magical at first.

  This is why I don&apos;t regret getting the game on PC. These are some mods, to name a few that I&apos;ve used in my playthroughs:<br><br>1. House Point System - adds house points to the game along with the hourglasses changing in real time to reflect them. It also gives homework and its own house cup system.<br>2. Immersive Modpack - gives all NPCs schedules. students attend class, go to hogsmeade in the weekend, go to common rooms in the evening, attend meals in the great hall, etc.<br>3. Night Curfew - Implements a curfew system to Hogwarts. Prefects will patrol the castle grounds between 11:45PM - 6:15AM. If you&apos;re caught you&apos;ll face the consequences.<br>4. Azkaban - If anyone sees you use unforgivables, the ministry will immediately be notified and send aurors after you to lock you up in Azkaban.<br>5. Emote with any NPC - Restore all station social actions available in game (sit in chair, eat, chat with npc and many more).<br>6. Spells Enhanced - 20 new spells found in the books and movies that werent originally in the game.<br>7. Spells &amp; Talents - 9 new spells and 29 new talent points. You can also create inferi or even horcruxes.<br>8. Expecto Patronum - Add a new quest to obtain the spell with full voice acting and cutscenes.<br>9. Floo Companions - Summon classmates, npcs or even teachers using the new floo flame system and have them fight alongside you.<br>10. The Chamber of Secrets - Add a new quest to open the chamber. As of writing this the mod is fairly new so be on the lookout for updates.<br><br>and that&apos;s just a fraction of what the modding community has done in the game for the past 3 years. Go see for yourself.

  I wish they removed half of the open world map and focused more on the actual Hogwarts castle, the forbidden forest, and Hogsmeade. I loved exploring the castle, but it felt like the game itself was trying its hardest to get you to leave.

  The world was absolutely top tier, not even a big potter fan but Hogwarts was genuinely amazing to me when i explored it.

  I&apos;m convinced that the broom flight in this game is the peak of flight in gaming. &nbsp;No Quidditch off the back of that mechanic was a collosal fail.

  I liked playing my character as an uncaring sociopath, who, fortunate for the wizarding world, is pointed in the direction of their enemies

  I played the game. I like the music, combat system and exploration BUT it&apos;s missing a few things. <br><br>- The patronus spell. We could choose between a cat, dog, eagle, lion, badger, snake, deer or fox. Fighting dementors sounds fun! <br>- A moral system. If we help others and saved creatures, the students will talke about us and the teachers will thank us but if we&apos;re cruel; everyone will be scared. We oculd be send to detention or in Askaban. <br>- Sitting or sleeping. Everyone can do that but not us... that&apos;s weird! <br>- Creating a pet like we create our avatar. The animal can find rare objets or help us fight enemies. He can also sleep with us, have a little bed. <br>- More classes. We had 3 or 4 if i remember (the potion, the botany, the basic spells) Not enough to make us part of the school. <br><br>If all this is in the next game, that would be cool 😄
