  Fun fact: there is a really small chance for both an Epic and a creature pack of the same species to spawn in the creature stage. If you befriend the pack of the Epic&apos;s species, you also befriend the epic. The epic won&apos;t attack you, but they very much will attack your teammates for some reason. It&apos;s Also funny to see the titanous terror of the creature stage happily wave at you as if you&apos;ve been friends since the beginning of time.

  Every time I see a video about Spore I think “Wow this looks fun! Why don’t I have this game again?” and then I watch as the game crashes and the creator looses hours of progress. In their despair I remember.

  Ive played spore since it came out, have hundreds upon hundreds of hours (unfortunatly i will never know how many) and its always held a place in my heart.<br><br>I have never completed spacw stage.

  Pro tip for my fellow Spore enjoyers out there: the game tends to crash any time you die, but if you skip the death cutscene by pressing escape, the game won&apos;t crash anymore. You&apos;re welcome.

  Spore needs a remake, or more specifically, the design goals of Spore need another shot at glory.

  My favorite part about playing space stage is finding a completely uninhabitable planet with purple spice...<br>...Terraforming it, planting each tier of plants, filling out the full ecosystem, then placing a Monolith.<br>Then letting a species reach sentience and enter spacehood, only to realize I forgot to make an artificial ocean so they only have 5/10 possible Cities on the &quot;Homeworld&quot; planet.<br>So I destroy them, create the ocean this time, do it all again, and raise up that luscious 10 city purple spice planet...<br>Then I conquer it, savescumming to ensure no cities are destroyed, max out the structures of all 10 cities, place all the colony upgrades, and now I have a beautiful 10 city &quot;Homeworld&quot; producing purple spice at an astronomical rate.<br><br>Looking down upon my masterful work of effort and knowing it will help me conquer the spice trade fills me with accomplishment.

  If anyone is wondering why the galactic center achievement is called “42”, this is a reference to the book “Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy”, where people create a machine that says the answer to life, the universe, and everything. The response they get is simply “42”. Neat little reference by the developers.

  I&apos;m not sure if you were ever told but the reason the game crashed during the first game was because if you die during a migration there&apos;s a high chance it crashes because it has no nest to spawn you at so it crashes.
