I’m curious what the psychiatrists (and those in training) here think about prescribing GLP-1s themselves. Given the obesogenic potential of atypical antipsychotics, is this something that y’all would consider prescribing or is this better to leave to primary care or endo?

Well it's interesting but mental health cases are all about crimes so it's not even longevity focused. It's literally behavioral health, and they're basically being punished for not having been terrible enough (however, drugs can turn them really fucking annoying, whereas normal people don't get annoying because they value the people they work with in order to make a living)<br><br>Ffs what's gonna happen if everyone drinks a lot of dark beers that make everyone sleep? They'll fall asleep at 10pm? What's the problem with that? That they'll wake up and clean the house/workplace in the morning and become better people? Ffs<br><br><br>The biggest problems in America are about associating ethnicities with drugs because No, they still have effects in other ethnicities, and it might not ALWAYS be stereotypical 😮
