  Another fascinating airbending ability is temperature regulation. Airbenders can adjust the air around their bodies to suit harsh environments. In freezing conditions, they can warm the air around themselves to stay comfortable without extra clothing, and in hot environments, they can cool the air to keep themselves refreshed.

  Another note is that Lavabending can be used by Firebenders but may be much much much more rarer and difficult, since it is still a combination of Earth and Firebending. <br><br>Also even with Earthbenders, it is rare and still as difficult but it is theorized that having parents of different Bending styles like for Mako and Bolin having firebender and earthbender parents enabling Bolin to master lavabending only after seeing it from Ghazan and after almost getting killed by some lava.

  In the Legend of Kyoshi novels, there was an Earth Bending technique taught to Kyoshi (or strongly implied to be taught) that the minerals in bone within your body can be controlled/regenerated in order to make the user stronger and extend their life.

  Earthbending also has Dust Stepping, which collects tiny earth particles in the air and condense them to be used as steps to essentially &quot;walk on air&quot;. Another form of earthbending used by Tieguai/Lao Ge and Kyoshi, to achieve what is considered immortality. Earthbenders, with precision, can restructure the minerals inside their bodies on a molecular level to continuously encourage cell regeneration and keep them from aging. While it is a technique exclusively used by Lao Ge and Kyoshi with mastery, it has long been suspected that other earthbending masters has some grasp over this technique albeit in a subdued way, like how Bumi and Toph both lived to be very old.
