Back in grade school our teacher taught it to the class as: "Father Charles Goes Down And Ends Battle" which also works backwards as "Battle Ends And Down Goes Charles' Father". 30 years later, I still remember it this way :)

I am taking music Theory 101 and we just started going over key signatures. This is extremely helpful and you did a fantastic job of teaching this material. I came up with my own mnemonic for sharps. First Class Girls Don't Associate with Every Boy. I know I had to throw with in there but I ignore it because there is no W note.

I was absolutely MIND BLOWN when you showed me the trick for the sharps. and flats to remmeber what key you're in. I had always mixed up the key of Ab and the Eb buy you've made it so much easier. Thanks!
