  This is why I&apos;ve been de-centering men like crazy. As a Black woman who is also vulnerable person, I&apos;ve been so persistently traumatised by Black men that I just can&apos;t interact with them anymore outside my family or work and university peers. Some bum will call me a misandrist as if we&apos;re not trying to undo thousands of years of violence against women and femmes. I&apos;m not letting the fear and harm stop me from living life anymore. Men gotta figure it out on their own now.

  I really appreciate MEN who address this type of stuff. Women can talk about it all we want but it means nothing if men don&apos;t take accountability. It takes men to check other men.

  Boomer men overtly joke about hating their wives. Boomer men of color are not exempt from making this joke. I&apos;ve noticed that younger men point out how this is obviously not funny and cruel to their wives, remarking, &quot;if you hate her, why did you marry her?&quot;. This is obviously a good point. But they go right around and make the same jokes, but in a more subtle manner. Exactly like how you highlighted here. As an Asian American man, there is a significant part of it which comes from the extremely patriarchal values of the motherland, which are significantly shaped by colonization. The other component is far more present, which is performative Western masculinity, in a cheap attempt to assimilate. It&apos;s not all that different from what it appears to me that Black men are doing towards women in their community.<br><br>We really took intersectionality, and said, &quot;how can I use the acknowledgement of the intersections of my identity, and use that to further degrade women?&quot;

  There’s so many men who love 🐱 and Hate Women. We’re talking 50 Cent, Boosie, Antonio Brown, NBA Youngboy, Soulja Boy, Cam Newton, Corey Holcolm, Donald Trump, Future, Blueface and the list goes on. The saddest part is there will be no shortage of insecure women willing to flock to them because they have money.
