Did you like the other seasons of Psycho Pass or do you wish it ended after the first?

What bothers me the most about the system is how often it is the cause of crimes itself. People who are flagged can have their whole lives ruined, so they crash out because they have no hope. In the first episode, we see a woman fall into despair because her enhanced state made her a threat. The man who assaulted her tells her as such. He'd know because it happened to him. The system didn't recognize bullying as anti-social behavior, but being upset from experiencing said bullying did make someone cloudy. The guy who was hacking drones to get back at his coworkers could have been saved if the people hurting him were stopped in the first place. Abuse is just accepted, and people aren't allowed to be upset about it.

0 crime co-efficient Makishima still gives me chills, truly a diety among anime characters.

I remember watching psycho-pass when I was 12 and not really understanding the full implications. When I watched it again when I was 24... Perspective changed completely.

Terrifying that between Black Mirror, Psycho-Pass and Cyberpunk it's becoming more and more realistic. These all were supposed to be a concept at one point.

Feel like I need to mention that the retired psychologist professor lives in Frank Lloyd Wright's Falling Water house. S Tier architecture.

Psycho-Pass has some of the most eerie and thought-provoking world building I've seen. It seems so terrifying because how much our current day issues mirrors that of Psycho-Pass' lore

This is one of those series helmed initially by Gen Urobuchi that absolutely nails that existential, nihilistic vibe that he brings to the works he touches upon. I absolutely love Psycho Pass 1st season. There's something to be said about this series growing legs and trying to expand as the world built in this limited series was ripe for expansion.

But I am of the opinion that it utilized its 1 season to its with incredible effectiveness that I felt like it has said all it needed to said about the themes it wanted to dive into. I really like the ending of season 1 because it shows that there is this hopeful tone that there can possibly be some changes within by compromising but it did not dismiss the fact that doing that is NOT the only solution and all in all, the complexity and nuance of humanity will always be a work in progress.

Thank you for highlighting this wonderful series.
