So I did a bit of research and found out that Perseverance's Pet Rock never had an official name. <br>I hereby introduce you to *Grit*.<br>"Grit" as in "Determination" but also "Grit" as in "small rock particles".<br>It fits perfectly with the NASA naming scheme and also has a relation to rocks.

I didn’t know the control delay on the rovers was so long. It makes way more sense why their top speeds are so slow now
