  turecks left hand is amazing. her touch is like deeply rooted in the earth, and her phrasing is of the older taste from bachs times

  I&apos;m not a musician; but I greatly appreciate Tureck&apos;s tempos and interpretations. I don&apos;t claim to understand Bach, but Tureck&apos;s Goldberg Variations opened my mind to Bach and her WTC is similarly a revelation to me. I greatly respect Gould and Nikolaeva as well.

  There is no question that Rosalyn Tureck belongs in the short list of the greatest Bach pianists. Her rendering of the wohltemperierte &nbsp;Klavier is poetic, crystalline, emotional, varied, powerful. The structure of the music comes through so clearly. Lovely record, thanks.

  Beautiful. The apparent ease and nuanced expression with which it&apos;s being played. I&apos;m very impressed. She must have been quite a personality I would have liked to have met. Great humble respect.

  WOW. Sounds like if it is not played at the piano, but harpichord. Certain tempi are so fast that you have the impression it is not that known piece one heard a thousand times, and yet, things unheard elsewhere emerge, such is the clarity of the performance. Most probably she took some lessons directly from J.S. Bach. Bravo.

  I think this is the best Bach WTC I&apos;ve heard all in all; some other pianists I might think as highly of certain individual Preludes and Fugues from this work, true... &nbsp;Tempo is such a meaningful issue, and most pianists were taking it too fast for these pieces; she appears to have a profound grasp of the issue, and has I think appreciation personally of a special Seligkeit inherent in these works...

I never seen such bravery different playing which absolutely never think and inherit other plays. just do it in a way that she believe that it&apos;s true by the most clearest meaning and by the most strongest feeling. I never ever have seen such a self Confidence in any damn field. she place his name, prestige, position and every thing that belong to her on her working. absolutely no even slight uncertainty. bravo.
