i understand why you'd want to move out of the UK, everyone is always jealous of eachother and it feels like a bit of a toxic lifestyle. honestly im so happy for you and cant wait to see what you do in the future, remember you dont need to stay in one place, travel as much as you can! much love from scotland.

Honestly I highly recommend everyone move to a completely different place at least once in their life. Living and experiencing a culture different to your own really opens your eyes to the world, you can't get that sort of understanding of the world from social media. Great decision mate, wishing you the best!

I moved to Japan last year at 18. It was the best decision of my life so far. It's amazing here. I definitely made the right choice. At first, it will be difficult, especially with the language barrier, but you'll get used to it.

Hi James, Here I am at 70 years old wishing I had done something this. This move will mean a lot to you in the years ahead and I am so glad do things like this because it makes a bold statement to people to get up and do something. I am so happy for you and hope you learn a lot and have a wonderful time.

You're undoubtedly going to come away from this with a lot of new experiences and stories to share , without trying to get philosophical that's what life is really about . Excited for the upcoming content james !

This video honestly hit super hard for me, because I'm pretty much in the exact same situation. I'm originally from the UK and just moved to Japan 3 months ago. Getting to see the same journey I'm taking through the eyes of another person is super interesting, and I'm excited to see what you get up to while you're in Japan.

P.S. I'm insanely jealous of that balcony view

I remember my first day in Japan like it was yesterday. I also remember my last coming back to the home country to get a 'real' job. I wish I'd stayed but the fun part is going back again permanently one day to do it all over again.

I moved to Tokyo from Sydney when I was about your age, returned home after 2 years. it's a great place when you're young but it does get tiring living there.

I started watching you bringing me back the memories I used to live in UK. Actually not only that reason but also your humanity such as exploring something new involved in human life and nature as like your vlogs. There are so much relevant. I have also explored Euro to pursue architecture that’s my occupation, different field from you but same way to think. So, I completely 100% interested in your way, dedication and passion. Definitely respect your decision and vlogs you share all the time. I hope to see you one day as long as we are in Japan.
Just happy for you, congrats (:
