What a work!!! Well done. The only thing that makes me sad is the laminated floors (plastic) on top of all these wonderful wooden beams.<br>An please change the music of the video, it's boringly monotone.

As an American architect, much of the work done to the structural masonry walls of this building would NOT be allowed here. The lack of vibrated concrete in Haydite block and the failure to use a professional mason for openings (like shown around the doorway and windows as perfect examples) is both amateurish and a recipe for long term failures of that facade. And while I applaud the removal of that concrete parge on the stone exterior, there's a LOT of poorly executed work on the vernacular masonry walls that I'd not approve of on any residential project here in the Pennsylvania. Parge coating interior stone walls (in lieu of repointing), the use of cheap MDF/HDF kitchen cabinets, engineered thin veneer wood flooring, metal studs in interior rooms, all communicate cheaply built structure. SMH.

Why did nt you use a chainsaw and cut the floor. Put a barrow under the stones you demolished. You ve done four times the work for nothing. When your old and full of arthritis you ll economise your gestes.
