  Trees need light to grow. Lighting the platform helps them continue to grow at night.

  A little late, but you can make 2 water sources out of 1.<br><br>Make a V shaped area and make the 1 side 2 blocks high, so you can place the water on 2nd block up, flowing down into your V.<br><br> Bonemeal the area in the V until a 2 tall grass grows where the water source is and you will get a 2nd source under the orginal.<br><br> You could have made a compostor to make bonemeal out of saplings.

  Your building style reminds me of the new Skyes one block series. I think it is a crazy because it has some of the same elements. it could just be that so many people do the sunken in middle and circular islands but those worlds look similar to me. I think it is really cool.
