  Zelda's company is named Scorpio sports. She told the story of the scorpion acting like a scorpion. Zelda evil, because she's a scorpion doing scorpion things.

  I just knew the way they were setting up Mae that something was going to happen to her. And Tracey Ullman's character turned out to be the snake that we all suspected she was.

  I have the feeling Mae "riding the bus" was always the plan, since that would set up her shares in the club being the deciding factor in Zelda's bid for majority control. Also, this whole episode had a running theme of big change: Keeley finding out she's pregnant, Shannon playing in a match for the first time, Boots finally wearing gloves, etc. I just wish we didn't have to lose one of my favorite characters in the series 😭

  Mae is unfortunately definitely gone. I was holding out hope, but when I saw that they put the tribute to Anthony Head in this episode I realized that they were waiting on it for this moment with Mae. Also from what I&apos;ve heard about him on various shows he&apos;s been in (especially Buffy), I think casts see him similarly to how we see Mae.<br><br>Zelda was not at all a shock to me though. The writing was on the wall with her for awhile, but what really sealed the deal was when she brought up the parable of the scorpion and the frog. Her company is called Scorpio Sports so the symbolism was clear. I still don&apos;t know her motivation. But I knew this was where it was headed

  When she said that she needed to take a break and then didn&apos;t take a break, I knew it was coming. I spent the whole rest of the episode just going, &quot;Don&apos;t do it. Don&apos;t you do it!&quot; 😭

  I literally sat in silence for 15 minutes with tears streaming down my face at the end of this one. Episode 9&apos;s delivering that gut punch once again.
