Earthmoving Secret Weapon? Mobile Track Solutions' Latest Scrapers - and When to Use Them

Owner John Moyna is also the owner of third-generation earthmoving and site preparation company C.J. Moyna & Sons, which MTS says brings a “field-first design” to their construction-grade products. Inside Mobile Track Solutions 20CY Straight Tongue Scraper The 20CY is Mobile Track Solutions newest and smallest straight-tongue scraper, targeting smaller contractors and dirt-moving jobs. The tongue has been sized for both weight transfer to the tractor and the turning radius of the smaller pan and smaller tractor. The bowl features a lower sidewall and a wider pan with a shorter floor. This design improves loadability when using a lower horsepower tractor, increases stability and allows for use of standard Caterpillar-compatible ground engaging tools for the cutting edges and router bits, the company says.
