  In my experience, your individual value won’t save you from a layoff. These are macro decisions made by people who probably have no clue what you do or what value you provide. You are just a cost that needs to be eliminated.

  CEO’s eliminating jobs in favor of AI, offshoring departments, and restructuring organizations to employ less people all in the name of inflating their salary and bonuses. What a time to be alive folks!

  They’re also producing terrible results…. Everything from vendors, services, etc… I’ve noticed in the last 2 years… the amount of bugs, outages, overall issues, etc.. has drastically increased. It’s an absolute shit show

  I&apos;ve been in the workforce for quite a while and been through some stuff. I used to hang in there and try to make it work. Nowadays, if The Boss comes up to me and tells me my time&apos;s up, then I&apos;m leaving at that moment anyway. I won&apos;t even finish what I&apos;m working on. Someone else can sit at the desk and finish the work. Life&apos;s too short for panic. Also I can finish my MBA without the pesky annoyance of the soul sucking needy people who like to be in their own misery. Always have a Plan B. I leave nothing personal in the office and record personal metrics on a non corp computer. Thanks for the insight and advise B. The timing of your videos are always spot on.

  I just can&apos;t take it anymore. &nbsp;I have social issues and generally don&apos;t like to be around people. &nbsp;I&apos;m very much a heads-down type of person when I work. &nbsp;I don&apos;t know my metrics and don&apos;t want to know my metrics. &nbsp;I&apos;m exhausted from constantly proving value day in and day out, and masking my autism is all the more draining. &nbsp;&quot;High performing&quot;, &quot;hustle culture&quot; is just draining. &nbsp;If we&apos;re heading into a new normal where all this and &quot;what have you done for me today?&quot; is expected, there&apos;s simply no point in being part of the system. &nbsp;The middle class is tired and worked to death performing more jobs than should be humanly expected, all to see it go to cheaper labor overseas. &nbsp;I don&apos;t hate the player, I hate the game.
