Does this mean that we're also getting a Rei analysis?

Misato was a real character. She wasn't just an anime character that was predictable and only played a role for the main character. She had insane depth to her character and that fact that it's so raw and real is crazy. Like Misato feels like a real human if you ask me

I couldn't lay my finger on why I liked Misato so much, and I think now that it's her inner strength combined with her struggling with letting others be close to her. It's pretty relatable. Or maybe I just like the 15 different sides of herself she presents to people, :P

Finally, a good analysis of Misato that isn't just "lol Misato's a pervert XD"

She's definitely a flawed character in the way she tries to relate to people and escape her own insecurities, but I think that makes her even more interesting. I love the inner conflict between the two facades she puts up, it makes her feel that much more tragic and real.

I just want to give Misato a hug. Not even in a sexual or romantic type vibe way, just like a “hey, girl, you’re doing just fine and you’re gonna be okay” vibe. She deserved better :/

Always loved Misato. Immediately my favorite, and next to Asuka. She is what helped bring Shinji back from Instrumentality.

1st episode in, she already took me. So i dont get where her being overlooked is coming from. Best lady indeed.

That opening quote is profound. Currently, after three years of sobriety, I'm liking myself quite a bit, but I don't fully understand myself, though I am gradually learning about myself and liking what I'm learning. That is exactly how I felt watching Neon Genesis and The End of Evangelion.
