  Japan does all this for minor accidents or issues, but ignore their stalker, m*lestation and r*pe issues. mind you an innocent woman was just stabbed and m*rdered in tokyo by her stalker and the police did nothing to help her after multiple reports...so messed up. doing everything but going after the real criminals! i have to take medicine for my anxiety, so i couldn't even imagine being in there for that long and maybe not having access to that?? im so glad you're okay Sundai, especially as a black woman! you are stronger than me i would've been sobbingggg and quite literally vomiting daily

  Back in 2010 I got arrested abroad in the UK for breaking up a fight that caused serious bodily harm to many people at 19 years old. To this day, going through that entire process for two years from being arrested, charged, going to trial, and thus found not guilty with all charges dropped is still one of the most traumatic things I've ever experienced which took a lot of therapy. Hell, I've literally been to war yet that took less of a toll on my mental. I empathize heavily with you. It crushes the weak-hearted but glad you made it out, stay strong Sundai.

  Not me, a US attorney who has been traveling to Japan since 2011 on a regular basis sitting here thinking… How can I practice in Japan and help people in your situation. Oh my goodness. I am so invested in this entire story.
