I picked up a 2007 L322 supercharged from auction here in the US with 219.000 miles. Runs and drives great. I’ve always wanted a L322 and don’t regret the chance I took. Excellent video mate.

One thing i loved about you on this project  that resembles my personality is the relentless on try this, this and that before jumping into a decision so that you emptied your pocket of options at hand then go for another decision which was to buy a new battery

Why do so many modern garages write off perfectly salvageable cars these days? It's almost like they can't be bothered to work on engines any more.

I couldnt stop laughing I had a fault with my air compressure and I felt every bump that you felt what an experiance but also a great learning curve, they are the only vehicle that make you laugh and cry in a matter of minutes LMAO🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Pull the rear arch liners out and the cill covers you will find terrible rust where the arch meets the cill , repair it before it is too late

I have a Freelander2 HSE. That’s so nice to drive. Heated seats and steering wheel is so nice on a cold day. No corrosion either

I had an 08 Sport, that era of air suspension is shocking for faults!

My RR (TD6) has 230k and I have had the vehicle for 10 years. I have spent a ‘king’s ransom’ over that time. I just get things fixed or carry out basic stuff myself. I too view my vehicle as a ‘project car’ but not to the extent of yours. Despite the high level of maintenance etc I can still not overcome the psychological issue of  filling it with a full tank of diesel in case it packs up on me! Lol! Keep up the good work.

I'm doing the same with a 2008 exact color outside and inside as this one. I'm replacing turbos cartridges, Light Control Module, AC blower, suspension compresor, and front drive train parts (bushings, ball joints and stuff...). I wish I can say I paid 375 pounds for it, but unfortunately I paid 10,000 USD... In my country this car back in 2008 was priced around 120,000 USD, so I guess that paying 15k-16k (car + fixes) still a good deal somehow 😂. Anyways, great video and thanks for showing this great result, giving me a really good prediction of my own project!
