  I&apos;m a very casual player who came back after a long time of having not played, and accidentally stumbled across the new purple boss. A few attempts led me to soloing it and reaping the very nice rewards. Probably around 70-80,000 gold (was able to get Gold Hoarders to rank 5) and a bunch of reputation in various factions. It&apos;s super worth doing if you&apos;re someone like me who still has Pirate Legend to work towards.

  Cliff, I have a small story to share. Sometime about a week ago, I was sailing with my new sloop alliance. And in that session, I got megged NINE TIMES in that one 4 and a half hour session.<br><br><br>The first time, I almost sunk because I was also escap- I mean- fighting a skele galleon, and that added so much pressure I had to desperately bucket while also sailing through rocks to get to my alliance which was at reaper&apos;s hideout. By the time I got there, I was absolutely covered in holes and my ship looked like moldy swiss cheese. <br><br><br><br>The second time, I was with my alliance taking care of a sloop with them. <br><br><br><br><br>The third and fourth were on my way to a sea fort to get more supplies because the sloop took 3 eternities and a half to sink <br><br><br><br>The fifth, sixth, and seventh were me regrouping with my alliance in The Devil&apos;s Roar (I was pretty far away)<br><br><br><br><br>The eighth was similar to the first but the skele thankfully buzzed off <br><br><br><br>And the ninth was as I was heading to sell my smugglers loot I had gathered from the 5 skele ships that attacked me along the way<br><br><br><br><br>And after that I logged off.   I too speedran the commendations this season. Boom of the banished was one of the first ones I did since I just found a barrel, waited for the guard to do the summon since it&apos;s longer than the norm and bada bing bada-literal-boom I got that done.
