  We're also ignoring the obvious they're just not good at talking. Stevies channel where he talks is successful because he's good at talking. Stevie is good at the sport that he plays

  Case in point: I was not watching wrestling during the entirety of Maven AND Stevie's run, yet those are the youtube channels I watch the most.

  Some of the low budget podcasts are oddly charming.  Thinking of Rene Dupree , Paul London, and their rotating crew.  I wouldn't call it professionally produced by any means but the hang-out vibe makes it fun youtube background content.

  I think humility goes a long way too. When you watch these you get a sense that Stevie is a genuine humble dude who isn't afraid to bury himself occasionally lol and doesn't always have to be the main character in his stories. Not to mention being from an era where the road stories and behind the scenes stuff is absolutely fascinating.

  Unfortunately most wrestlers don’t want to talk about private conversations etc. It’s the kayfabe mentality.

  I don’t judge podcasts based on who has the high definition cameras. I just watch the people who I enjoy their discussion.

  I just couldn't listen to Angle's podcast.  The way he would talk just reminded me how much wrestling affected his brain.  It was heartbreaking.
