Everyone saw a pile of waste, but Cole saw an opportunity hidden inside it. His knowledge completely changed the future of that land.

Honestly, dumping 50 tons of rotten tomatoes on someone’s land should’ve had consequences, even if it worked out later.

I’m gonna be honest, dumping 50 tons of rotting tomato waste on five acres still sounds completely insane. The fact that it worked doesn’t make the original decision look any less risky.

Cole disked the fields for days adding 20 tons of dry hay with the tomato slurry. He ended up with heirloom tomato plants densely covering his 5 acres. He hired college students & out of work farmers to pick the tomatoes. He expanded to 400 acres. He never used commercial chemicals on his ground. He became a multi millionaire.
❤❤❤😅
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

I used Coast of Maine potting soil this summer and did not even plant tomato's in my bed but got a bed full of tomato plants and they all have green tomato's on the plant right now. So tomato fields can work.

From being called an idiot to making over $580,000 from five “worthless” acres… that turnaround was incredibly satisfying to watch.
